  • St Mary's Netball & Football Tournament

    Sat 18 Jun 2022

On Thursday year 5 and 6 boys and girls took part in a netball and football tournament at St Marys. What a wonderful afternoon we had watching everyone participle and show off their fantastic sportsmanship. Well done to our football team for playing so well and trying their best in all their matches.

A very big well done to the netball team for making it into the semi-finals!! We took 3rd place overall for netball, what a incredible achievement.

Thank you Mrs Jiggins and Mr Thompson for coaching the teams and accompanying us. An extra special thank you to Mrs Jiggins who gives her time so generously to support our netballers!!!

  • Westminster Pentecost Liturgy

    Fri 10 Jun 2022

We had such a wonderful experience travelling on the tube to Victoria yesterday afternoon and to be welcomed by musicians playing steal pans outside Westminster Cathedral. We were invited to the Diocesan Pentecostal Liturgy, held in the Cathedral to celebrate our diverse and rich community we have here within our Diocese, with the theme of racial justice, equality and welcoming the Holy Spirit to all. We watched some amazing performances by other schools including bidding prayers in home languages, singing, poetry and drama. We also had our very own photo taken with the Bishop himself!! A wonderful experience for all, and a true reflection of wonders of our diverse school here within our walls at St Joseph's.
