Year 6 completed their persuasive speeches in English this week and yesterday read them aloud to the class.  We heard some strongly written persuasive arguments trying to talk us into banning a range of different things from homework to plastic.  Well done Year 6 for some great writing.

In maths, we have practised working out missing angles and also reflecting shapes in a mirror line, both of which Year 6 had found tricky on practice SATs papers.

Our science topic continues to be electricity and this week we have been designing question and answer games where the circuit has to close when the correct answer is touched so that a buzzer sounds or a bulb lights.
