Please remember to read with your child daily and support them with understanding through comprehension of the text and not just decoding.

Spellings:

Spellings will be tested on Thursday. The rule will be taught on a Monday. This will be started from next week.

This week we have looked at the spelling rule – ‘er’ or ‘est’

Happiest and happier

Choose 5 words and put these into sentences as per the spelling task

English/History:

Our topic is all about ‘flight’ we have been learning about different pilots and they have overcome barriers and hurdles in order to get to achieve their goals!

This week I have set a purple mash 2do for your children. They are going to recreate themselves as a pilot and write a few sentence about being a pilot and what they do.

Maths:

We have been practising SATs style questions in many different ways, please complete the 5 questions written in a SATs style. Please remind your children to draw objects and circles etc to help them.
