WEEK 6
Well done to everyone this half-term! It has (yet again) been a very busy but brilliant half-term!
For our last history lesson, we looked at identifying and explaining the achievements of the ancient Greeks. We created our own stamps to show what the Greeks left behind and how it still impacts us today. We have come to the end of our history topic for Spring 1 and will be moving on to our new geography unit next half term.
We will be continuing our English unit (persuasive letters) for one more week after half term. We have been looking at the features of letters and how we can use persuasive language to get someone to do something for us.
In maths, we will be continuing to look at fractions and will be looking at a lot of test-based questions and how to approach and answer them. This will also be a focus with homework.
We will be looking at what sacrifice means in RE linking with Lent.
I hope that you have a lovely rest over the half term, and I look forward to seeing you all fresh and ready for a short but fun term next week!
Well done to the stars: Sofia and Sophie.
