We’ve had  another busy week – isn’t every week?!  Lots of hard work this week on multiplying and dividing by powers of ten in maths.  Remember that the decimal point does not move – the digits shift to the left and to the right.

English has continued to be based on Goodnight Mr Tom, looking at different ways of expanding the sentence to include description.

The highlight of the week this week for Year 6 was having a picnic lunch on the field with our buddies on Friday and some time to play with them and get to know them in the afternoon. We’re really looking forward to introducing them to the rest of the school soon!
