Year One News 2/12/21
Hello everyone! The end of a shorter week this week and the start of a well deserved, long weekend.
In maths this week we have been looking at balancing totals, including creating addition sums that make the same total.
In English we have been looking at the story of the Jolly Christmas Postman. We are beginning to look at the structure of writing our own letters to Father Christmas, which we will write next week during our sustained writing session.

In preparation for our Nativity with Year 2 please could you listen to the following songs below with your child. Some of the songs have lyrics on screen but for the others please use the copy of the lyrics sent home today. Thank you.
