Week 14 (15.12.23)
What a busy final full week in Year 3! We finished with a bang and a lovely Celebration Assembly led by Mrs Moseley followed by our class Christmas party. Well done to our final stars and writer of the week for this term. You’ve all done so well and each week it’s been so hard to decide who should receive a certificate. We were also lucky enough to receive the Best Attendance for the Week award too!
It’s been D& T this week as well and we’ve been busy designing and creating small Christmas cushions. We’ve learnt how to do running and cross stitching as well as using applique. All we have to do next is stuff and sew them up. It’s been great fun and we’ve been lucky enough to have parents free to come into school and help us.
This week we’ve had lots of Christmas activities as well as lessons and two of the highlights were a visit to Santa’s Grotto and the Christmas lunch served by members of staff to the children. Next week we’re looking forward to our Christmas Carol Service!
We hope you have a lovely weekend and we look forward to seeing you next week for the last couple of days of the Autumn term.
Very best wishes
Mrs Howard and Mrs Gilliam
