What a busy week! 

Our story this week was 'Rumble in the Jungle'. We have been dressing up as explorers, exploring the small world jungle and looking for animals.

English: We wrote sentences about what we could see in the jungle pictures. We acted the story out in the reading area using the puppets. 

Phonics: We continued to revisit phase 3 sounds and tricky words.

Maths: We started looking at subtraction using equipment to help us.

Art: We made our own animal patterns using a variety of resources.

UW: We all made predictions what our sprouting bulbs would be. We predicted lots of different fruit, vegetables and flowers. We also planted some seeds of our own. As a class we looked closely at the 'Life cycle of a frog' and how it starts off a frog that lays frog spawn then becomes a tadpole then a froglet then a frog.

R.E: We started our new topic about how we gather together.
