Nursery News 25/11/2022
The end of another busy week in Nursery!
This week we continued our 'People Who Help Us' topic by learning all about the fire service. Children had to put out chalk flames with water and cotton buds to develop their fine motor skills. In maths, the children learned all about repeating patterns. The children had to use two different colours of unifix cubes to finish a started pattern and then were encouraged to make their own unifix patterns. They all worked very hard and had a very good grasp of patterns. Well done Nursery!
For RE, the children learned about our class saint, St Nicholas, the patron saint of children and all about baptism.
In English, we have been sharing stories and discussing what we can see in the story pictures to develop our story language. The children also practised their name writing which is really progressing well.
Thank you for the biscuit donations for the PTA. It is greatly appreciated.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Carpineta
