Phonics: This week we continued to focus on the sounds ‘qu, ch, sh and th’. These have proved to be a little challenging but we are getting there. We practised sounding them out and then writing them. We revised our red tricky words up to date especially; he, we, me, she, be and here.

English: We finished reading our book Monstersaurus. We have been predicting what we thought Monty and Monstersaurus got up to in their adventures. We have been trying to write sentences too.

Maths: Our focus is number bonds to 5 -10. Quick addition to 5.

Computing: Children have been learning to log on to our computers and create their own pictures using 2simple programme.

Role play: Tesco is still showing to be the most popular supermarket in reception with lots of great deals.
