This week was aspirations week and we have been speaking about our futures and what careers we might want to pursue. 

The children thought about what jobs might interest them, the skills needed for that job and the steps they need to take in order to achieve their dream role.

On Friday, we had some guest speakers come in to tell us about their jobs, which we found extremely interesting.

CHEX came in to talk to us about all the work they do and Patsy Spears told the children about her life as a midwife.

We also did some role-play in the hall as lots of different jobs such as cashiers, doctors, zoologists, hairdressers, chefs and more!

It has been lovely to hear all the children's goals for their futures.

Some children wrote a letter to Mrs. O'Connor asking to work as different roles in the school. We had some children acting as headteacher for the afternoon, some as teachers and teaching assistants and some as secretary's in the office!
