Class News - Summer 2 - Week 1
What a busy start to the new term!
Year 4 completed their final MTC today, and they were all amazing!! I did tell them that it was just a trail for the real thing, so no one panicked, and it seemed to pay off as they all did so so so well!!!! SUPER PROUD TEACHER!!
We are coming to the end of our persuasive writing and will hopefully produce the final product on Monday and perform it on Tuesday to the rest of the school. I will also upload it to class news next week so you can hear what we have been up to!
In maths, we have just finished long and short division, which has been a challenge, but we are all just about there now, so we have moved on to reading and interpreting data. Next week we will also move on to telling the time and working out duration.
In RE, we have started a new theme called ‘Building Bridges’. Henry and Jojo started off with our wonderful reflection all about connecting bridges to those people with whom we may not connect enough. They also gave us the mission to pray for those who may not be with us anymore and build that bridge again.
In our science lessons, we have been learning about sound and what makes a sound. Please see the photos below of our carousel activities that we did to investigate how sounds are made.
Well done to our stars:
