Year 6, Spring 1, Week 2 (and homework!)
First of all, apologies – I thought I had uploaded the homework yesterday but it seems that I didn’t. So here it is!
Year 6 have, as ever, worked hard this week. Maths has been based on the order of operations (BIDMAS), which has been challenging at times. In English, we are still using the book Clockwork but looking at the story so far from one character’s point of view.
Yesterday, we had our Class Mass. Thank you to those parents who were able to attend. I’m sure you’ll agree that it was a lovely Mass; Year 6 read well, behaviour was excellent and the unaccompanied singing made it really special.
Today has been Class Charity Day and the children challenged each other to a swap for the day – boys dressed as girls and girls dressed as boys. Well done to everyone for entering into the spirit of the day – I had 28 new names to remember when taking the register! An extra well done to those who really made an effort with their ‘look’. Fantastic work, Year 6!
