Another week has ended as we head towards the half term. 

This week we had a visit from Father John. We joined with Reception class and Father John came in to speak to us about Baptism, as an introduction to our new topic-Welcome. During this topic, we will be looking at the children's photos and will role-play a baptism in class too. 

This week we have started our observations of the children via dojo. These are just a little snapshot of something your child has done in Nursery throughout the week. Please do share these with your child, and send a little comment back if you want. 

We began our Black History Celebrations this week too and Mrs Daley told us the African story of Tortoise's Dream. It really was fantastic and everyone was so engaged and joined in with the animal sounds and chanting.

This week we have been learning all about autumn and looking at seasonal change. When the leaves on the trees on the school grounds start to change we will go on our autumnal walk, which is always lots of fun.

We have also done lots of mark making and assessing our number recognition this week.
