Advent Assembly

Today marks the start of Advent for us at St Joseph’s as we celebrated with our Advent Assembly. Year 6 have been waiting many years for their time to come and finally they were able to decorate the tree in the most special of ways.

Lord Jesus help us to remember that it is only because you came as a baby on the first Christmas Day that we can look forward to this Christmas with such excitement.

Lord, Mary prepared for the coming of Jesus by filling her home with love. Help us to do the same.

Dear Lord, we are beginning to look forward to the birthday of Jesus. Help us to prepare fully by thinking about how we can help others so that we may become more like Your Son, Jesus.
