CLASS NEWS 15.12.23
Good afternoon Parents and carers,
What another busy festive week the Nursery children have had! In our classroom the
children have enjoyed our small world Nativity story book with wooden figures which they have
been using to retell the nativity story. Nursery have been busy decorating their own Christmas tree pictures practicing their fine motor skills - cutting and sticking! We have made our own Christmas fairy lights by threading
beads, we have been playing a bauble number matching game and also practicing our names for our Christmas cards just to name a few of the things!! On Wednesday, we had a wonderful time visiting Father Christmas in his grotto with his elves! The children were so lucky to receive a gift and chocolates! Parents they are all on the good list! Then Year 3 came and collected the Nursery children to help take them to our whole school Christmas lunch in the hall which they thoroughly enjoyed!
But the best part of this week has to be the Nursery and Reception class singalong!! We were so proud of all of them! Mrs Carpinetta had introduced the songs
and actions and had been doing lots of practicing!
Beautiful singing and actions and they all looked wonderful in their Christmas party clothes! A very big well done to all our Nursery children who are all Stars of the Week in our celebration assembly! Thank you again parents for all your help and continued support. Have a lovely weekend!
Kind regards,
Mrs Vinci
