It is one of my favourite times of the year, when new students can register to take up instrumental lessons.  Learning to play a musical instrument has so many benefits as well as being enjoyable and good for stimulating brain activity.  Learning can teach children how to solve problems more effectively, improve their resilience, develop listening skills and memory and provide some much needed time away from screens and online occupations.

I have spent many happy hours over the last few decades(!) playing my flute and I very much hope some of you will be able to learn also.
