As we approach the end of term, I am delighted to say that it has been a fantastic week. Our students have shown great dedication and enthusiasm towards their learning, and we are now gearing up for that final push before the well-deserved break.

In English, we have started our final topic of explanation texts. This week, we delved into the key features that make up these informative and engaging pieces of writing. We have been demonstrating their creativity and clarity of expression.

Meanwhile, in Maths, we have been focusing on timetables. It seems our young learners have been applying their skills in a very practical way - exploring the intricacies of booking holiday flights! Parents, do keep an eye on those credit cards!

In our RSE lessons, we recently had a mature and insightful discussion about the miracle of creating babies. The children posed some remarkably thoughtful questions, reflecting their growing understanding.

Over in Science, we have completed our unit on living things and their habitats. Next week, we will be exploring plant reproduction before diving into our final topic on animals, including humans. Much of this content has already been covered in our PSHE sessions, ensuring a holistic approach to our students' education.

A quick reminder that our school fete is taking place this weekend. It promises to be a fun-filled event for the whole family, so do come along and join in the festivities.
