Year 6, Summer 2, Week 7, 19th July 2024
Well, we've done it - we've reached the end of Year 6 and all the children are ready for their next step. It's been a wonderful year and, as always, a privilege to take Year 6 through their SATs, the production and residential as well as all the other things that happen in Year 6. Year 6 have worked amazingly hard this year and should all be very proud of themselves for their achievements and fantastic SATs results. It's been lovely to see them all mature and grow in confidence as the year has progressed and to see them being great buddies and role models for the younger children.
This week it was wonderful to see our class performing their production for the school in the morning and then for parents and relatives in the evening. They absolutely excelled themselves and we definitely had lots of different talents there that only came to the fore in the last few weeks.
Yesterday was our Leavers' Mass in the Church, beautifully led by our Year 6 class. It was a lovely event and a very moving way for the whole school to say goodbye to the class.
Finally, thank you to all of the parents and children for the kind and thoughtful gifts we received. They are very much appreciated by all of us.
Have a wonderful summer. Come back and see us Year 6!
