WEEK 2

This week has been full of exciting learning adventures!

In English, we delved into the realm of creativity and self-expression as we crafted our final poems inspired by the theme of motivation. The children poured their hearts into their writing, and I can't wait to share their masterpiece poems with you. I'll be recording them soon and placing them on our school website for all to enjoy.

Over in Maths, we wrapped up our exploration of angles and are gearing up to tackle the world of reading tables. It's fantastic to see the children's mathematical skills evolving with each lesson.

In RE, our discussions on freedom and responsibility continued to spark engaging debates. We dived deep into contemplating the significance of various commandments, with each student passionately defending their viewpoint. Next week, we'll be embarking on a journey to explore the teachings of Buddhism, adding another layer of cultural richness to our curriculum.

Meanwhile, our Geography sessions took us on a virtual tour of different biomes. The children had a blast immersing themselves in the arid world of deserts, using their descriptive prowess to write captivating postcards that captured the essence of these unique landscapes.

I must say, the children's mindful minute, healthy eating, and online safety posters are absolutely brilliant! Your unwavering support in reinforcing these crucial lessons at home is greatly appreciated.

As we wrap up another fruitful week of learning, I am immensely proud of the progress and enthusiasm displayed by year 5.

Super excited for you to see our assembly next week- 9.10.

well done to stars and writers:
