An egg, builders hat and a bean bag...can only be our sports day!

As we near the end of our year in Nursery class we are still very busy and having fun!

We began our week with one of our final texts for a farm topic 'A Squash and a Squeeze' by Julia Donaldson. The children really enjoyed this story and the activities planned around this book. Nursery enjoyed using the different size farm animals and seeing how many they could fit into different sized boxes. We had our own home pictures and the children cut out different farm animals to see how many they could stick and fit inside a house. They were very creative at this and chose their animals wisely! The children have loved playing with our purple, glitter playdough this week and making many interesting things. Mrs Direnzo and I have have enjoyed lots of pizza's and tasty biscuits!

On Thursday we had our whole school transition moving up day, where you both got to meet the Reception class teacher and EYFS team. I know they had a very fun and enjoyable morning smiley.

We ended our week with Nursery's sports day! We had a builders race, egg and spoon race, balance a quoit, the bean bag and hoop race finished with some relay running races. I am sure you will agree just how fantastic Nursery was and which is why they were all so deserving of their winner medals! Thank you so much parents and carer's too, for showing your support and cheering our Nursery children on!

Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you all on Monday for our final week in Nursery Class!
