It's been a long week that was the culmination of months of hard work but finally we got there - the SATs are over!  Well done to all of Year 6 for their hard work and perseverance as we've worked towards this week, for all the boosters they've committed to and attended every week and for how hard they have tried with the topics they found difficult.  We're really proud of all of you for your dedication and hard work and for trying your very best this week.

It hasn't all been hard work and silence this week though.  Year 6 have enjoyed four fitness sessions before school as well as breakfasting together each day.  We've also used quizzes to make last minute revision a bit more fun.  Today has been a more relaxed day, with some research on Brazil (our country for International Week), a presentation about the forthcoming residential trip then this afternoon lunch with buddies, then some drinks, snacks and extra breaktime as well as some play time with their buddies.

I'm not setting any homework this weekend as I think everyone could do with a rest so have a lovely, relaxing weekend, Year 6.  Back to normal lessons and hard work next week though!
