Another week has rushed to a close and I can't quite believe Friday is already here! This week, in English,  we continued our story , Jasper's Beanstalk, and were writing captions for images. We also looked at bossy instruction writing.

In maths, we continued with positional language and ordinal numbers. The children were all so great at identify the ordinal number and position of a child in a queue.

In history, we sequenced events we experience during a typical day before discussing some of the events in their lives so far.

In science we continued to look at the properties of materials and their suitability for certain jobs.

Yesterday we had a surprise drama workshop with the 'Perform' company. The children had to pretend to be astronauts and fly in a spaceship. All the children were engaged and thoroughly enjoyed it.

In RE, we continued to look at the Creation story and produced some wonderful pictures depicting the story.
