WEEK 3
As we come to the end of another fantastic week, we are delighted to share some highlights from our pupils' learning experiences.
In Maths, children have engaged with mental arithmetic exercises, fostering their ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
Our Geography lessons took a captivating turn as we delved into the lives of indigenous peoples in the rainforest. The class discussed the significant impacts of global warming on these communities and their environments, prompting rich discussions about sustainability and the importance of conservation.
In Art, we are pleased to announce that we are nearing the completion of our topic on batik and repeating patterns. The children have demonstrated remarkable creativity and skill, producing stunning pieces which showcase their developing artistic talents.
In RE, pupils engaged thoughtfully with the topic of Confirmation. This exploration allowed them to reflect on the significance of this important rite of passage and its cultural relevance in their lives.
Our Spanish lessons focused on pronunciation, specifically on how to articulate phrases such as 'how to' in relation to various subjects. This practical approach helps students feel more comfortable speaking in Spanish, bolstering their confidence in using the language.
Lastly, in our PE sessions we have started our new unit on netball. The children have been learning about positions, footwork, and the different types of passes, all in a fun and energetic atmosphere.
We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements and their continued enthusiasm for learning. Thank you for your ongoing support.
