Year 6 have had a great start to the year, coming in looking smart and ready to work.  Over the few days this week that we were in school, they have completed a few essential Year 6 activities.  On Wednesday, they wrote house captain speeches and presented them to their houses.  Each house voted and house captains were announced in celebration assembly on Friday.  Well done to all of Year 6 for their presentations but a special well done to:

Mark - Sara (captain), David (vice captain)

Luke - Sophie (captain), Jojo (vice captain)

John - Cara (captain), Saoirse (vice captain)

I'm sure that they are going to be great role models and inspiring leaders for their houses.

On Thursday and Friday, Year 6 children had the chance to visit the Reception class and welcome the children to our school.  They had fun playing together and sharing books and chatting to get to know all the younger children as preparation for becoming buddies.
