After our half term we have got straight back into our learning.

In English this week we read the story 'The Tiger came to Tea'.  We discussed how we would feel if a tiger came to tea at our house! We wrote sentences about the story using our sound and word mats. We also used our phonics in writing sentences using lots of CVC words. 

Phonics: We revisited phase sounds and our CEW were 'said and they'.

Maths: We learnt how to find one more and one less than a given number.

R.E: We have started our new topic 'Desert to Garden'. We have been learning about Ash Wednesday and how we will be entering into Lent. We spoke about and wrote our Lenten promises.
