Another very busy week has come to an end! 

This week we continued looking at instructional texts, looking at the features of recipes and writing our own instructions in the form of a story map. 

In maths we continued looking at part whole models and writing addition sums to match our models. 

This week was anti-bullying week so we had lots of discussions and activities around this year's theme- 'Choose Respect'.

It was our prayer service this week and we used anti-bullying week as the focus: choosing respect and showing love to one another. We shared the importance of always showing kindness, love and regard for each other, just as Jesus taught us to do. The children all said their lines perfectly and sang 'The Kindness Song' so beautifully. Well done Year 1, we are so proud of you!
