A busy week this week celebrating Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday and World Book Day!

Our book of the week was 'Mr Wolf's Pancakes'. We enjoyed discussing how nobody wanted to help Mr Wolf make the pancakes but they all wanted to help him eat them. 

So for English we wrote sentences about the story and what Mr Wolf did. But even better we made our very own pancakes! They were delicious. We then were treated to some more pancakes but we had to run with a pancake in the pan this time.

In maths we have been looking at 2 parts and 1 whole. Understanding that 2 numbers together make 1 number.

In R.E we spoke read the story of 'The Good Samaritan'. We spoke about how we could help people we do not know.

We made our own kindness trees, acted out the story and drew pictures of our friends and said why they were our friends.

World Book Day we drew pictures of our favourite characters, wrote ingredient lists for our pancakes and made our own books.

Our fun week had!

Well done to Alice and Ral for being our stars of the week.
