Welcome back to the summer term! We are excited to share with you the engaging activities we did this week. In English, we have delved into narrative writing, drawing inspiration from “Leon and the Place Between.” The children have been exploring various aspects of writing, including vocabulary, grammar, and structure, fostering their creativity and enhancing their storytelling skills.

In Maths, our focus has been on decimals. We have tackled converting decimals to fractions, understanding number magnitude, and rounding decimals. Additionally, we've dedicated time to honing mental arithmetic skills, ensuring we feel confident and proficient in our mathematical abilities.

We have also wrapped up our final Geography unit on 'Food', which has been both informative and enjoyable. Looking ahead, we are eager to embark on our new History unit about the Mayas, promising to reveal fascinating insights into this ancient civilisation.

In PSHE, we have explored essential topics surrounding health, focusing on how to maintain a balanced lifestyle and build healthy relationships.
