Another fun packed week of learning in Reception! 

English: We read 'Martha Maps it Out'.  Children were introduced to a variety of different maps. We drew and labelled our own maps, maps of the solar system, maps of our local area, maps of ourselves, maps of our bedrooms and many more.

Phonics: We have completed all our phase 3 sounds and are now beginning to implement them in our reading and writing. We have been practising all our CEW everyday.

Maths: We have been looking at missing parts and finding the part.

Geography/UW: We went on a walk around the school looking at all the buildings. We then drew out own maps of the school.

R.E: This week we learnt about 'Pentecost' and how Jesus went back up to Heaven but sent us the 'Holy Spirit'.
