Week 10 21.11.25
Yet another busy week here in Reception! Our Book this week was 'Whatever Next'. We drew what we would like to take to to space and tried to label them. We continued working hard on writing our cvc words using our sounds. We are ploughing through our phonics and only have 4 more phase 2 sounds to learn. We are continuing to focus on our CEW such as
'I, the, no, go, into, here.'
Maths: We have been looking at repeated patterns. We have been continuing and making up our own patterns this week using lots of different resources.
R.E: We spoke about how we prepare and get ready for Christmas. We wrote them on our promise cards. We also began to make our wreaths in preparation for Christmas.
Onesie day!; Reception enjoyed completing lots of various activities to do with reading. We also visited the library and we spent the afternoon having books read by our buddies.
A thoroughly enjoyable day.
