WEEK 2
As we reflect on another busy week of learning, it's wonderful to share some of the highlights from our classroom activities. In Maths, we have successfully completed our exploration of the properties of shapes and have now shifted our focus to lines of symmetry. The students have shown great enthusiasm in identifying and drawing symmetrical figures, which has been both engaging and educational.
In English, we are wrapping up our final piece of persuasive writing. It’s inspiring to witness their confidence grow as they express develop their writing techniques and are becoming authors :)
In History, we have finished our current topic and are excited to embark on a new adventure in Geography, where we will be exploring foods from around the world. The students will learn about different cultures and cuisines, igniting their curiosity about global traditions and the diversity of our planet's culinary offerings.
In RE, we have delved into the concept of the introductory rite, discussing the values it embodies and how we should strive to live our lives. The children have collaborated to create a charter outlining the principles they believe are essential for a harmonious classroom and community.
