Our final week of Spring Term ...

On Monday Nursery began their week as we visited the school hall to see the Stations of the Cross. We lit a candle and listened to peaceful music whilst reflecting on each of the stations and retelling the Easter Story. Nursery were as always very quiet, peaceful and respectful.  We also had our first prayer service in nursery class. We were so proud of all of them how they all said their lines, waved their palm leaves and sang their Palm Sunday song.
The children are excited to bring home their Easter cards they have made this week and it has been so lovely to see their confidence in attempting to write their names. Well done Nursery! Keep up the good work and maybe over the holidays you could have another little practice.

Nursery are also bringing home their grass they have been growing as part of our Three billy goat gruff story.

Our story this week has been ‘We’re going on a bear hunt and We’re going on an Easter egg hunt. The children have enjoyed retelling and acting out the story. They have also enjoyed cutting, sticking, painting , gluing and making all the different places in the story which you will be able to see displayed in our key stage one corridor.

It has been a very busy term but a very enjoyable one! It is wonderful to see how much the children are maturing, growing in confidence and they amaze us with their learning every day .

Our stars of the week are ‘Nursery Class’ 🤩🤩🤩🤩 for their first ever prayer service.

Our learner of the week is Anne-Marie 🤩

We wish you all a wonderful and peaceful Easter and look forward to seeing you all again in our final summer term!

Best wishes,

Mrs Vinci & Mrs Direnzo
