RACIAL JUSTICE SUNDAY: 28.01.24

 

This Sunday we focus on Racial Justice and how we can be ambassadors here at St Joseph's School for Racial in-justice around the world and close to home. Our Light House keepers will leading our path again this week in prayers, liturgies and helping to remind us and others of what the Bible tells us,

Please read the prayer we have been focusing on this week;

 

Lord, as we gather together,​

We thank you for creating us in your image and likeness.

Help us to remember that we are all your children, regardless of our race.

May we see you in all the people we meet. 

Thank you for the saints of every race and culture who show us how Jesus wants us to live.

Help us to follow their example and to work for your Church so that all are loved and welcomed.​

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Amen.

 

We have been thinking about our unique thumbprint of God and how we can really celebrate this, we have been working with our other academy schools to create one large display of us as one community, one trust but yet all uniquely different.
