WORLD BOOK DAY 2026
WORLD BOOK DAY 2026
We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day, with everyone getting into the spirit by dressing up as their favourite characters. The costumes looked incredible – so much thought, creativity and effort had clearly gone into each and every outfit!
In the morning, we took part in an exciting carousel of activities led by various teachers. There was something for everyone, from scavenger hunts and mask making to radio presenting, comic strip creation and storytelling using mysterious objects. Each activity brought stories to life in a different way and gave us the chance to explore our creativity.
We then came together for a special assembly led by our Reading Ambassadors, who introduced and explained the Year of Reading 2026. It was inspiring to hear about the plans and goals for the year ahead and to celebrate the joy and importance of reading as a school community.
In the afternoon, we returned to our classes for even more exciting activities, continuing the celebrations and making it a truly memorable World Book Day for all.
