Thank you Year 5 for a lovely final week of our year together.  This week has been as busy as usual with lots of end of term activities.  We had the pleasure of watching the Year 6’s dress rehearsal of ‘Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits’ on Monday and then their Leavers mass today.  It was a very moving morning as we celebrated their achievements and cheered them on their way to the next stage of their educational journey. 

We celebrated the talents of everyone at St Joseph’s in our termly Talent show yesterday as well.  There was dancing, singing, piano recitals and magic on display showing just how many talented children we have at St Joseph’s.  Many congratulations to all the winners.  Congratulations to our Stars and writer of the week too who were awarded their certificates during our whole school picnic on the school field yesterday afternoon.

I hope you have a very lovely summer holiday.  It’s been an absolute pleasure to teach you all and I wish you the very best as you move to Year 6.  I know you’ll be just as fantastic for your new teacher.  Thank you for all your thoughtful gifts and cards too - they are very much appreciated.
