Today we reflected on the life of Pope Francis

As we came together today as a Catholic school community, we paused to reflect on the extraordinary life and leadership of Pope Francis. Throughout his papacy, Pope Francis has been a beacon of hope, a figure who has continually pointed us towards the light of Christ.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Loving God, We give you thanks for the life of Pope Francis, a true voice for the voiceless, a faithful steward of your creation, and a man dedicated to dialogue and peace.

Through his example, he taught us what it means to be a living witness of your boundless mercy and a true pilgrim of hope.

We pray that you welcome him into your eternal peace and grant him the reward of everlasting joy.

May we, your Church, in this Jubilee Year, commit to living our lives with faith, optimism, and a deep commitment to creating a better world for all
