Our annual celebration has commenced again. As always, we have continued celebrate and recognised the generation of 'Windrush' that have contributed to our British society. The contributions of the Windrush generation to the UK can never be underestimated.

In 2018, Windrush Day was announced. It will be held on 22nd June each year to help highlight the rich legacy and contributions of the Windrush generation to the UK. 

We have had home made fruit tropical punch today, Carribean desert what was delicious to say the least, and of one of our favourites here in school.

We also had a guest speaker in assembly on Friday morning to present her own journey and how she overcame many barriers. A fantastic opportunity for our children.
