Spring 2, Week 4, Friday 20th March 2026
Yesterday we celebrated St Joseph's Day and a great day was had by all. In Year 6, we began by being Gospel writers - practising dialogue skills learnt recently in English and giving St Joseph a voice by re-writing one of the stories about him from the Gospel but with dialogue included.
We then went to Mass at Church as a whole school. It was a beautiful Mass so well done to all the readers and the choir.
After lunch, it was the traditional ice cream event on the playground. Luckily this year we were blessed with beautiful, warm weather for sitting out and munching choc ices. This was followed by house events. Each house had a different activity and we were all able to complete them outdoors.
All in all, a great feast day!
